Administrative Assistant to the Special Education Director

The Mansfield R-IV School District is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the Administrative Assistant to the Special Education Director for the 2023-2024 school year. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering central office phone calls, financial record keeping of receipts and expenditures, preparing monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and payment requests, filing and submitting reports with state and federal agencies as required, data entry for student records, maintaining student records, assisting and orienting substitute teachers, ordering and maintaining office/teacher supplies, processing basic registration paperwork, and completing all other duties as assigned by the Special Education Director. Candidates will need to have the ability to do the following: calculate figures and amounts, learn new systems/software, demonstrate excellent skills in computer word processing, spreadsheets, and databases, safeguard confidential information, and have a general knowledge of bookkeeping. Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Previous experience and/or training that includes secretarial or clerical work, is preferred. Parents as Teachers Parent Educator

The Mansfield R-IV School District is seeking applications for a part-time Parents As Teachers Educator. The position requires the educator to serve children under five and their families through personal visits, group meetings and screenings. Successful applicants must be well organized, reliable, self-motivated, and have a willingness to maintain national PAT parent education certification. This position also requires the educator to provide their own transportation to complete home visits. This is an annually renewed position and pay is based on home visits. Paraprofessional

The Mansfield R-IV School District is now accepting applications for a Title I Paraprofessional for the 22-23 school year. Qualifications: 60 college hours or a passing score on the Paraprofessional exam. Applications are available below or in the Superintendent’s Office at 316 W. Ohio St., Mansfield, MO 65704. 


Cook & Server

Mansfield R-IV School District will be hiring a Service Cook & Server. This position will be in the MS/HS. Responsibilities include a variety of food preparation and service duties in support of school food service to students. This opening is for a Monday thru Thursday schedule, totaling 154 days per year. It is considered a full time position and is eligible for benefits.

Interested candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, ability to follow oral and written directions, pass a background check, and maintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance, cleanliness, sanitation, and safety. Other desired qualities include being dependable and showing initiative in the job.

Custodian 

Qualified candidates are responsible for maintaining a clean/sanitized learning environment while regularly working indoors and occasionally working outdoors.

Possible Duties Dust, sweep, and/or mop floors as necessary. • Wash windows and clean window sills. • Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures, hardware, tile, mirrors, partitions, floors, etc. • Replace restroom supplies as needed. • Set up tables, chairs, etc. for school meetings, games, dances, and other events. • Report any damage to school property and report maintenance needs. • Replace light bulbs and fluorescent tubes as needed. • Follow established schedule. • Load and unload supplies and equipment. • Complete minor repair work as needed. • Sweep exterior walkways and remove snow as directed. • Maintain security of the classroom and buildings. • Secure the building at end of shift. • Check to make sure all doors are locked, windows are locked, and check buildings for fire hazards. • Clean all tools, supplies, and equipment after each use and store in their property place. • Perform light maintenance duties according to capabilities or as directed. • Carry out all other duties as assigned. Bus Driver

The Mansfield R-IV School District is seeking applicants for full-time and substitute route Bus Driver(s) for the 2021-22 and beyond school years. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled. Applicants must obtain a proper bus driver's license, submit to a background check, random drug testing, and complete an annual physical. Substitute Teacher

The Mansfield R-IV School District is accepting applications for qualified substitute teachers. Qualifications include having a DESE- issued substitute certification, 60 college hours, or have completed the 20 hours of DESE online training.   Substitute teacher

Sub Pay

Non-Certified Subs first 10 days $70, days 11-20 $80, days 21-30 $90, days 31 and beyond $100, all retired teachers receive $100 per day
